Plot-level trial data, captured where the plot is.
Fieldbase runs replicated trials end to end: randomised plot layouts, blinded assessments on a tablet, and a clean dataset the day the season ends. It works offline, reads in direct sun, and takes gloved input.
14 days, one full trial, every assessment exportable.

Randomised block, split plot or latin square. The plot map on the tablet is the same map the protocol defines, so you assess in walk order, not plot order.
Blind by default
Treatments stay hidden during assessment. Unblinding is a deliberate action and it is written to the audit trail with your name and the time.
No signal at the trial site
Every plot value saves to the device first. The header states how many plots are still queued and syncs them when signal returns.

Trial design
Randomised block, split plot or latin square. Set reps, treatments and plot size; the layout and randomisation follow.
Assessment schedule
Scales, timings and growth-stage targets from the protocol, served in order at the plot.
Blinded entry
Treatment codes hidden while you assess. Unblinding is deliberate and written to the audit trail.
Offline capture
Plot values save to the device first, with a visible count of what is still waiting to sync.
Data checks
Values outside the protocol range, duplicate plots and missed reps are flagged before you leave the site.
Dataset export
One row per plot per assessment, shaped for direct import into your stats package.

The plot map shows where you are, what is assessed and what is left. Tap a plot to enter a value, or let the app serve them in serpentine walk order and never look at the map again.
