Most of a season's data is collected standing in a crop, not sitting at a desk. The Fieldbase phone app is built for exactly that: the farm in your pocket, the plot you are standing in proposed for you, and every entry carrying who recorded it and how good the fix was, with no signal needed.

It knows where you are standing

Follow me proposes the plot under your feet and moves on as you walk, so scoring a trial is look, speak or type, and step, not scroll, find and hope. A wrong proposal is one tap to correct.

Hands-free voice dictation

Both hands full is the normal state of fieldwork. Dictate notes and scores and the phone transcribes them on the device, offline, nothing sent anywhere, tuned to the vocabulary of your own traits.

Built for no signal

Pin the fields you are taking out and everything about them is on the phone before you leave the yard. Record all day with no coverage; sync catches up on its own when you are back in range.

RTK accurate, when it matters

The phone's own fix places a note well enough for a field; a plot demands better. Corrections from any NTRIP caster bring a connected receiver to centimetre level, using the same client the desktop uses.

Provenance on every entry

Every note, photo, measure and sample records who took it and the fix accuracy it was taken at. Two people scoring the same trial stay two people in the record.

The crew's device, not just yours

A shared phone or tablet unlocks per person with a PIN, so the name on the reading is the person who took it, and a lost device can be revoked at once and erased when it next touches the network.
